I was raised in Birmingham, Alabama and Morgantown, West Virginia, lived in Germany for a year as a Congressional exchange student, and have been in Boulder, Colorado most of the last twenty years. My experience with computers began at the age of 9, sneaking into the computer labs at the local college to play Robot and Adventure on the Digital VAX system, then becoming the proud owner of one of the earliest Apple II computers sold in West Virginia.
